Elektrosmog and some technique.

It surrounds us like a fine mist or smog. We do not hear it, we cannot taste it, we do not see it, we do not smell it, but some of us do sense it.
Our body reacts to it, and that can be quite strong.

Only with measuring equipment electrosmog can be detected.

Somewhere between Langwellen and Mittelwellen we draw a border, that is in the kHz region. We call everything from 20 Hz till 1 MHz, (that is 1000 kHz ofwel 1.000.000 Hz) lowfrequency,
and from 1 MHz till in the GHz (Gigahertz) region we call highfrequency.
To be exact, the border lies somewhere between 30 KHz and 100 KHz.

In lowfrequency fields, f.i. 50 Hz (from the wall socket) we speak about an elektrical alternating field and a magnetical alternating field.
Why alternating? Well, because 50 Hz means 50 changes per second, and we are talking about AC.

On all concucts, where there is a tension (no current is flowing yet!) is an elektrical alternating field, expressed in V/m (volt per meter).
As soon as current is flowing (when an electrical appliance or lamp is switched on) than there is also a magnetical alternating field, expressed in nT (nano Tesla) (or milliGauss).
Many electriciens do not know about that. They only have a Voltmeter and they measure Volts, Amperes and Ohms, but only few electriciens posess a Teslameter.
And it is just those magnetical fields, who are so bad for our health.

(Below 20 Hz we speak of VLF, very low frequency)

Above 1 MHz we speak of high frequency. There the elektrical field and the magnetical field are connected into each other..
